MONEY SAVING TIPS

Book your removal on time.
Your move can be much cheaper if we are notified in advance and if we are able to combine your move as a part load. In addition you can start doing things at your own pace and leisure.

Pack and unpack as much as you can yourself
Ask us in advance for any special packing materials, i.e. moving boxes, wardrobe boxes, stickers, bubble wrap, etc. During packing you can select what to take and what to leave behind. Start early as preparing a removal tends to take more time than you bargained for). Generally, most removal companies will not insure fragile or valuable goods if you pack them yourself. For normal items such as clothing and books, this will not be the case. Our estimate includes limited liability in Spain as per our terms and conditions, Transit insurance (i.e. fire, theft and total loss) is covered when transported by our carriers. Individual items should always be insured separately if required. Charges for coverage is generally 3% of declared value and based on accurate list.

Select what to take and what to leave.
Take only what is necessary. After all, everything you do take has to be paid for.

Disassemble large articles of furniture yourself
Large furniture, such as beds and wardrobes, can often not be transported in one piece. Disassembling is often easier then you think. Mark the pieces to make assembling easier. Keep screws, bolts and keys in an envelope and tape this to the inside of the furniture.

Get help
Make a deal with your mover to help during the move. This will save you money.

Deliver goods to the mover yourself.
Especially when moving only a few items, it is possible to deliver directly to the storage facility of our warehouse this will also save you money.

Let suppliers deliver new goods directly to your mover.
When for example, you purchase furniture at a Furniture store or shops to be sent abroad, have them deliver the furniture direct to our warehouse. This saves work and thus money.

Consider temporary storage at our warehouse.
You can store your household goods at our warehouse. This can come in handy when your house isn't finished yet, or you are still looking. You can then opt for a phased delivery of your goods.

Take goods yourself.
You will probably visit your new house regularly before your removal. If this can be arranged with the seller try to take goods with you whenever you go. Especially within Europe it can be interesting to hire a van for this purpose.
